The Field Amp is a compact, battery-powered amplifier designed to deliver clean, high-gain amplification for contact microphones. Based on the trusted circuitry of the Microphonic Soundbox, it offers the same low-noise performance in a standalone format. It is ideal for mobile recording setups or sensor-based installations requiring clean, high-impedance amplification.

The Field Amp is designed to produce no audible noise or spectral artifacts, including ultrasonic components that may surface during post-processing. This makes it ideal for high sample-rate recording and extreme pitch manipulation, delivering clean, pristine audio from contact microphones.

The small unit is fully portable, light, offers many mounting possibilities. A professional case is included, which also can carry your contact mics, batteries and cables.
