Outbox 8 is a versatile eight-channel audio/CV breakout box and USB host/device designed to expand your connectivity, with creative possibilities to boot. It adds eight fully configurable physical outputs to a connected device, letting you send audio and CV in any combination its capabilities allow.

Outbox 8 is compatible with Elektron Overbridge-enabled units, USB class-compliant MIDI devices, and many USB class-compliant audio devices. USB MIDI support is broad, while audio compatibility can vary by manufacturer and firmware; check Elektronauts for the latest confirmed devices. Outbox 8 also works as an audio interface, adding eight more outputs to your computer.

Send Audio

Outbox 8 enables you to route individual tracks or submixes from your compatible Elektron machine for external processing, mixing, or performance.

Send CV

With Outbox 8, you can assign outputs to CV duties - pitch, gate, trig, value lin, or clock - to bring modular and other CV-controllable gear into the same setup.

MIDI to CV

Use Outbox 8 as a dedicated USB MIDI-to-CV interface. Play, sequence, modulate, and synchronize modular systems and other CV-capable instruments with your Elektron box. Or connect a MIDI controller to play and control them directly.

Eight-Output Computer Audio

Connect Outbox 8 to your computer, tablet or phone and use it as an eight-output USB audio interface. Route channels from your DAW to mixers, effects, monitors, or other external hardware, while also converting MIDI into CV where needed.
