Description

Analog Resonant Phase Rotator

Kamieniec II is an updated and extended revision of their original Kamieniec module, an analog module inspired by a range of classic phaser effect units from the 1970s. It preserves the classic sound while being versatile enough to shine with any modular sound source. The new module shares the basic specifications with its predecessor: 4 and 6-stage outputs, built in triangle LFO (with a separate output in the true modular spirit), manual resonance control (up to extremely high values), and spicy feedback routing modes. Kamieniec II has been completely redesigned and has multiple new features, such as voltage control over resonance, a third feedback mode, and an LFO reset input. They have retained the chaining capability—Kamieniec II is fully compatible with the original Kamieniec, so you can easily mix and match both generations of the module.

Features

  • Analog 4/6-stage phaser inspired by the 70s classics
  • Simultaneous four and six-stage outputs
  • Voltage controlled resonance
  • Onboard voltage controlled wide range syncable LFO
  • Additional external modulation input
  • Independent LFO output
  • Three feedback modes
  • Chainable for multi-stage phasing

Expandability

  • ALLPASS EXPANSION
    • The Allpass Expansion is an optional circuit board installed at the back of Kamieniec II Analog Resonant Phase Rotator module. It adds up to 16 sweepable stages for a total of 22, without sacrificing precious hp in your Eurorack case.
  • CHAINING
    • Unlike any other phaser module, multiple Kamieniec units can be chained together to achieve a more radical response with many notches. The general idea of chaining is to pass along the phase shifted signal to subsequent units before it is mixed with the original version in the last unit of the chain. This approach has a very different effect than plain cascading (connecting multiple phaser units in series), because a long chain of allpass sections yields a dense and uniform pattern of multiple notches, exactly like in a long phaser.
